Unfortunately, this summer's severe drought wreaked havoc on our pastures, leaving little to be eaten. We started dipping into our winter hay reserves in July just to keep our herd fed. The good news is that one of our two hay providers has committed 100 round bales to us, twice as many as we normally get from him. Now we just have to raise the funds needed to pay for them. 

 

This means that this will be our biggest hay fundraising year yet!
